Onsite Inspection & Testing

We will provide a competent engineer to carry out thorough examinations on all your lifting equipment and a wide range of testing on many different applications such as lighting grids, lift shaft, beams to bespoke manufactured products.

Repairs & Testing

Damaged items can be repaired depending on costs. Repairable equipment will be tested to the manufacturer safe working load and returned to service. Items damaged beyond economical repair will be removed from service to prevent any risks to personnel.

Entertainment Stage Rigging

We can offer examinations on all your rigging equipment such as TomCat, Prolyte and Litec trussing systems. We also look at load testing of static lighting grids, raised and lower lighting bars and hemp sets.

ABOUT

CWS Lifting & Safety Ltd was established on 15 October 2010.

I started out in the entertainment industry as a team leader in the rigging department in 1999. I was later a rigging technician, erecting more temporary structures than I care to mention, working in the UK and Europe.

After much consideration and years of working in the lifting industry, I decided to start my own business by setting up a workshop in my back garden. I drove to different sites speaking to building and construction companies delivering leaflets. It wasn't an easy journey but I've never looked back.

My partner and daughter work along side me and both have experience in customer care and treating customers fairly.

ISO Accreditation

In July 2015 CWS was accredited for ISO 9001. We continue to maintain these standards to demonstrate our commitment to our customers, employees and efficient running of the company.

LEEA

In May 2019 we were audited and admitted as a developing member of the LEEA.
